the-average-procrastinator:

Fanon Loki: is super cool, has plans upon plans to outwit opponents
Canon Loki: is literally a dweeb who just goes with the flow and tries to find the best option to benefit himself but constantly fails

Fanon Loki: is anguishing in his illusion as Odin, misses being himself and loathes that he must hide behind a mask
Canon Loki: literally is having the time of his life being doted on, eating grapes as Odin and watching a play he most likely wrote himself about himself

Fanon Loki: a quiet, bullied child who just wanted to be left to his books and was constantly tormented by Thor and his brutishness
Canon Loki: disguised himself as a snake because he knows Thor loves snakes and then when Thor picked him up to admire him, transformed back into himself and yelled “bwaaah it’s me!!!” and stabbed Thor

Loki is a cat … this is true…just like all the naughty lil shits I have cared for over the years, he just wants pets and spoiling and will backstab at any given opportunity and then come back looking for cuddles #lovecats #loveloki

…but he was raised in asgard where everyone wears summer dresses all year

I wanted to draw them but I hate their overly complicated clothes so I drew them in winter clothes and loki ended up as extra intolerant towards cold but then I realized he is a frost giant and I felt dumb but continued the drawing

Thor and Loki’s Arc

I saw this great comment on CBM and had to share:

“I think the overwhelming theme in these movies is Thor and Loki’s relationship. Even in Raganok you see it when Thor tells Loki I thought the world of you and you see it again when Loki states it’s best they probably part ways for good and Thor replies by patting him on the back and states, “That’s what you’ve always wanted”. You could tell in Loki’s face, that it isn’t what he’s always wanted. What Loki wants is his brother’s approval, and like most younger brothers, when he doesn’t get it, he lashes out. Thor knows his brother better than anyone, so he knows there is good in Loki, that’s why he smiles when Loki arrives on scene to help save Asgard in Ragnarok, it’s almost as if he’s thinking, I knew you wouldn’t let me down. And there’s a reason Loki smiles when he see’s that explosion of lighting atop the Asgardian palace, he’s thinking, Yeah….you just pissed off my big brother. As far as the Frigga think is concerned, her death was the initiator but it was Thor who asked the most of Loki in the Dark World not Frigga. Plus…the ending scene in the Dark World says it all, Even though Loki was disguised as Odin, this conversation was the conservation between two brothers. It was here that Thor admitted that Loki was better suited for the Throne than he was, where he revealed he didn’t have the stomach to do what needed to be done. It was here that Loki disguised as Odin heard with his own ears Thor keep his word and state that Loki died a hero. It was also here when Loki, if he really was out to get his brother could have kept the hammer from him, as Thor willingly gave up the hammer, laid it at the foot of the throne. Yet Loki disguised as Odin said, “The hammer is yours if you’re worthy of it” This was two brothers revealing what they really thought of one another. Thor may not have knew he was talking to his brother directly, but Loki did and he showed he really cared for the man his brother had become.”
