There is something always bugs me about how Kevin portrays Alec in CoB movie, i mean he is Alec but at the same time, not quite like Alec, & for sometime i don’t understand why. But now I get it, it’s because the Alec Kevin portray is more like CoFA & CoLS’ Alec, not CoB’s Alec. 
Alec in CoB was like “I’m jealous but i’m not quite sure if i should be jealous or if i have the right to be jealous because Jace is not exactly mine or anything but i’m still jealous anyway ugh i’m a horrible person”
While Alec in CoFA & CoLS was like “(I know jealous is not good but) fuck that you’re my boyfriend i have every fucking right to be jealous so who the fuck is he/she” & Kevin’s Alec is exactly like that

Okay first i want you guys to know that i don’t want to do this, but this thoughts keep bugging me for days so I have to write this out.
And second, this one is a very very very terrible theory, maybe the worst I have ever wrote about Malec, so if you think you can’t handle it, don’t read the next! It also contains spoilers for The Bane Chronicles, in case somebody haven’t read it yet. AND DON’T SAY I DIDN’T WARN YOU!

So it goes like this:


In The Rise of Hotel Dumort, Aldous – the High Warlock of Manhattan – has gone insane after living for too long and he tried to go to Hell, thinking it was his place, and then was killed by a Shadowhunter who used bow. Ah yeah, “a Shadowhunter who used bow” – sounds familiar isn’t it.

And then we have this sentence from Saving Raphael Santiago:

“Magnus hoped if he ever went mad like that himself, so mad that he poisoned the very air round him and hurt everyone he came into contact with, that there would be someone ho loved him enough to stop him. To kill him, if it came to that.”

What if all of these are foreshadow, what if Cassie pulls off another Wolverine-Jean on us, something like Magnus went insane for some reasons (which may involves his very powerful demon father) & then Alec is the one who kill him and the last words they say to each other is ‘I love you’ …

I’ve just watched a very sad movie so my mind is kind of messed up right now

Trust me I was crying while writing this I must be a masochist somehow

I’M SO SORRY FOR THOSE WHO READ THIS

I have this idea after reading a fanfic.

So you remember Magnus’ speciality is memory & how Magnus uses a spell to erase his memory about Camille in TBC right? I think it’s a foreshadow, except this time, he will use it on Alec. He trades his life to save Alec, & before he die (NOPE) he erases Alec & everyone else’s memories about him, so when Alec wakes up, he will forget about Magnus & continue to live a happy life without him … BUT, because he is already very weak when he casts the spell so it doesn’t go right. Alec still forgets about him, but he also can’t love anyone else, even years after, because he feels like it’s wrong to love someone else & there is something missing. So Alec ends up alone for the rest of his life

MY THEORY IS GETTING WORSE. MY HOPE IS DYING ALONG WITH MY HEART WHILE WRITING THIS THEORY

The Lightwoods

Okay so after read The last stand of New York Institute i realize something (well, i should realize it sooner but i’m dumb so …): the reason why Alec & Isabelle doesn’t hold a lot of judgement about downworlders is because Maryse & Robert are used to be in The Circle.
I assume Maryse & Robert doesn’t talk much about that with their children, sure they are ashamed of all the horrible things they did in the past, but i also believe that they knew they were wrong, that’s why they didn’t teach their child to hate downworlder.

That’s also the reason why Alec wasn’t too offended when Magnus talks about shadowhunter at the Uprising, he knew his parents were in the Circle & he feels bad about what they did with downworlder (Jace should learn this from Alec, both of his fake fathers & even his real father were in the Circle, so you should watch your mouth!) (And wait! There is a moment when Magnus stare at Alec when he asked about the Uprising, maybe it’s because Magnus recognized Alec was the one he used to call ‘repellent brat’ LOL)

Of course Alec & Isabelle is not 100% judgement-free (i blame it on the society they live in & probably because of Hodge), but they are pretty open-minded (hell, both of them are dating downworlder now) 

(Now that I think about it, the Lightwood is pretty much like a mix between Malfoy family & Weasley family … which is not a surprise at all i guess)

Also, if Alec get back with Magnus & Izzy end up with Simon, then doesn’t that mean the end of the Lightwood bloodline? Magnus & Alec can’t have a child (obviously) and vampire also can’t bear children and Max is dead … unless Robert already have another child with someone else … not sure how I feel about that hmm … or maybe, Alec will marry some girl to continue the family bloodline, he seems like the type who would do so for his family (BUT YOU CAN’T DO THAT PLS NO) …

I HAVE JUST FINISHED THE LAST STAND OF THE NEW YORK INSTITUTE & I’M LAUGHING. Ok the story was sad & it’s terrible to see the Whitelaws being killed like that, BUT I was thinking about Maryse. Like how AWKWARD it would be for her when Alec introduce Magnus as his boyfriend

“OMG He knew how stupid i was when i was young, now he is dating my baby boy what had happened with this world”
“How can I act like an adult around this guy??" 
"OMG WILL THAT GUY BE MY SON-IN-LAW????" 
"Alec, do you know he used to refer you as repellent brat" 

If it was me I probably would have die of all the embarrassment 

Re-read What to buy the shadowhunter who has everything & Magnus’ denial of fallen in love with Alec was cute as hell. He keeps telling himself & others “Ok, I do like him but not that much” “We are not official dating”, while in fact he know it’s not true, but then at the end of the day he admitted defeated & simply accept the fact that he is in love with Alec (it’s rather fast for him to come from denial stage to acceptance stage actually, but it’s Magnus we are talking about so I’m not surprised). You can also see the exact moment Magnus fell in love, when they were in Taki’s (hell, even I would fall in love with Alec in that situation). And I really like that moment, because that means Magnus wasn’t in love with Alec at first sight. I have always believe that in CoB & even is “Kissed”, Magnus wasn’t in love with Alec yet, he was just interested in Alec’s look & personality. Their first kiss was more like Magnus want to claim the “Alec’s fist kiss” title (which is childish, & cute as well)

And the funny thing is, I always think that my personality is closer to Alec than Magnus, but now I realize I have more things in common with Magnus than I thought. Which is great, because now that I can feel them both, I love them even more. But it’s also bad, because I don’t think I can handle it if something happen to them in CoHF …

How about in CoHF, Magnus sacrifice himself to save Alec. He is badly injured & then one of his fellow warlocks (maybe Tessa) summon his father, & ask him to heal Magnus. But even his father can’t completely heal him & Magnus went into a coma for … idk, 100 years. So Alec becomes a Silent Brother, wait & take care of Magnus while he is sleeping for 100 years. (Which also means Alec has to break the parabatai bonds with Jace, & watch everyone else die …) When Magnus wake up, he find out that he is no longer immortal & Alec once again becomes himself (just like Jem did) & they reunite & grow old together

At this point i can’t even think of a logical solution anymore ….. I want to write a fanfic, but I’m lazy & never actually write any fanfic before so ….
