(about your HSJ/Godfrey Gao post) I personally think Harry Shum JR looks better, but I can definitely agree that it’s a general opinion that Godfrey Gao has a better appearance. (I agree about the eyeshadow thing though). What I disagreed with was that you said it’s a very simple fact of life? It may be a general/common/popular opinion, the majority of people may think that, but a fact has to be something that’s indisputable, and that’s just not. (sorry if this sounds rude, I didn’t mean to be)

it’s okay anon, i understand what you mean, but when i said “simple fact of life” i meant the fact that “Godfrey is better looking is the more popular opinion” 

Why do you even watch the show if you’re gonna complain and hate on it. I swear the only reason you haters watch the show is so you can find little things to complain about. Either way you’re still contributing to the views so you’re really helping the show get renewed

because it’s fun nitpicking it? it’s not like you blind followers of the show will point out things that are wrong with it so someone have to do it. lmao and you know that i download it illegally right? that’s the beauty of living in my country.

another thing is i feel the relationships are developing kind of weird. simon basically falling in love at first sight with izzy is accurate, and izzy flirting with simon and jace with clary, but still for them to already start doing this in episode 1 was kind of weird to me. also i feel like in the books clary was a skeptical of jace for a while but in the show so far she’s already like clinging to his arm and stuff. (does this make sense? i hope so)

from what izzy said to clary in episode 2, clary has feelings for jace already and i was like “what?”. i will be honest here and admit that i don’t care about clace that much so i don’t remember what they were like in the book but one thing i don’t like about this Clary is that she seems very flirty. Not that’s a bad thing, but it’s just not Clary i remember. and jace is so obvious with his affection toward her it’s ridiculous? isn’t jace supposed to be an emotionless asshole on the outside? and the only reason why izzy can see through his facade is because her & jace are close? i hate to say this because people would think

I’m criticized about the show because i like the movie, but i think the movie did a better job at showing their relationship. 

tbh for me one of the most disappointing things about the series so far is that it isn’t funny? i know the books weren’t comedy but they still had their moments of humor. there were so many “joke” set-ups in the 2 episodes but nothing was really funny. not that i think it should be a sitcom, but in my opinion it should be at least a little funny every once in a while ? in the books they had moments of lightheartedness and they made jokes. idk if this made sense but it was unsettling for me.

no i totally understand what you meant. all the (supposedly) funny lines from simon makes me laugh, but only because it’s so ridiculous and trying to hard to show that simon is a nerd instead of being actual funny. Most of the jokes fall flat and i’m not sure it’s because of the scripts or the way the actors delivered it. 

tbh some of the actors are good and some are downright awful. i think alberto’s nailing simon so far and the lightwoods are well casted but kat as clary oh god cringe-city.

i honestly never see kat as Clary and so far she hasn’t convinced me otherwise, and it’s not just her acting skills, it’s just the vibe in general. Alberto is nailing the nerdy part, but i don’t see the sass, and honestly i don’t feel his lines are funny at all, but that’s not his fault. I like the Lightwoods so far but the more i watch, i feel like there is something off about Emeraude but i can’t quite put my finger on it so i think i need to watch more to judge. Matt is okay-ish, at least his lines are good and not cringe-worthy. But his Alec is way too confident compared to Alec i remember in CoB. I guess we just have to wait and see. Magnus… well, i’m very biased toward movie!Magnus so i think i will not comment on this one.

1. I share room with my mom. (it’s weird i know)
2. It’s on 2nd floor.
3. It’s a mess.
4. I just bought a new bookshelf but most of my books are still in the boxes.
5. When i say books i mean manga.
6. I have a TV in there so in my day off i almost never leave my room.
7. It almost never sees the sunlight. 
8. No poster or picture of any sort but there always are 2 wall calendars. (my mom is like, obsessed with calendar)
9. The wardrobe is ugly and i refuse to put my clothes in there. There is barely any space for me anyway. Not that we have lots of clothes, my mom just refuses to throw the old stuffs away.
10. Er, what else… oh, there is 1 mirror & make-up table that nobody bother to use.
