I know this is supposed to show their friendship but literally he just said my not-boyfriend Oliver is way better than your fiancé oops 

People keep complaining about how Connor lied to Oliver but honestly i think telling the one you thought hate you that you’ve just murder someone, burned & chopped up his body, then threw it in a dumpster is not the best way to fix a relationship. Yes I know Connor lied because he doesnt want Oliver to get involved but people tend to get bad impressions of you when you told them you’ve just killed someone, it’s common sense … and fixing his relationship with Oliver may not be his priority right now, not because Oliver is not important, but because he really thinks Oliver hates him & has a new boyfriend & he doesn’t deserve Oliver at all so what’s the point
