You’re all so blind to how we’re misrepresented on TV. For example Shonda Rhimes. Yes, she writes LGBT couples into her scripts, but EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM CHEAT.

– Greys Anatomy – Arizona cheated on Callie.

– Scandal – James Cheated on Cyrus.

– How To Get Away With Murder – Connor cheated on Oliver.

And then you wonder why people don’t vote for gay marriage; Because they’ve been brainwashed into thinking we don’t deserve it because we’re not committed to each other.

Truthfully, I don’t think that Shonda is going against the LGBTQ community when she writes infidelity into her shows. I don’t think it’s a matter of gay people cheating on gay people, but people cheating on people.

For every gay affair, there are more straight affairs.

Grey’s – Olivia cheating on George; Alex cheating on Izzie; Derek cheating on Addison; Addison cheating on Derek (Mark); Richard cheating on Adele; Ellis cheating on Thatcher; Owen cheating on Christina; Mark cheating on Teddy

Scandal – Fitz cheating on Mellie; Mellie cheating on Fitz; and the whole Olivia v. Fitz v. Jake triangle

HTGAWM – Sam cheating on Prof Keating; Prof Keating cheating on Sam; Laurel cheating on Kahn; Frank cheating on his long distance girlfriend

The three shows are literally dominated by people cheating on people. I think not having the gay couples cheat on each other is unrealistic because they are people, after all. And I think the reason we think that ONLY the gay couples are unfaithful is because there may not be enough gay couples represented. And don’t forget the great storyline of Walter and Joe, who are have been in a healthy relationship for 10+ years according to the show.
