How do you get your hair to look so perfect? I run my hands through it a lot. To be honest, I don’t do anything with it. You know, I have professionals who do it on the show, but in my normal life like right now I’m sweaty and I have this messy hair… That’s it, that’s the real Jack.

Reread Jack’s old interview and there is this one where he said “they were going for a different look [for Connor] at the [beginning]” and i remember having the same thought while reading the pilot script. Even though i read the script after watched the entire 1st season, the way i imagined the characters is still completely different from the characters on screen. For example if i was the casting director, Laurel would be played by someone looks like Ellen Page in Inception, and Connor – Patrick at the time – would have blonde-ish or brown hair, probably blue eyes, no facial hair and definitely 6-pack, and to be honest i would have HATE Connor/Patrick so much if they decided to go for that direction. I guess what i wanted to say that i love how the current Connor is greatly affected by the fact that they casted Jack, even the reason that Coliver storyline existed was because of Jack’s chemistry with Conrad and the only reason i actually care for Connor was because Jack plays him and i just love jack so much *cry*
