How many dwarfs does it take to open a door?

Besides this being hilarious- do Dwarves even have doors with latches like that? They may have genuinely never had to use a door like that?

i just love how the dwarves slam against the door like a baker’s dozen of extremely dumb birds flying into a skyscraper window

we need to talk about how all 12 of them are just like “OPEN SESAME YOU DAMN DOOR” and thorin just comes through like “YOU FRICKIN’ IDIOTS” and lifts the latch with a princess hand

You all do realize that its probably because Thorin was tall enough to just reach the latch. Dwalin is the only dwarf taller then him and he’s to far to reach it. Thorin is the second tallest out the the company.

ARE YOU TELLING ME THE REASON WHY THEY COULDN’T OPEN THE DOOR FASTER IS BECAUSE THEY’RE ALL TOO SHORT OMFG IM CRYING THEY’RE SO HELPLESS
