That’s not what I meant. To me that was Magnus’s father’s way. I was thinking about the Book of White…

I think it’s the general rule of immortality, not something Magnus’ father made up just to torture him & Alec. So even if he finds another way to give up immortality, he will still die immediately.

As a world of fiction, I think everything is possible. Simon turned from a Mundane to Vampire, returned to be Mundane again and finally a Shadowhunter (Without having angel’s blood, just Magnus helped him with magics and spells). That’s why I don’t think Magnus’s immortality couldn’t be taken, it just that it will be harder than taking Simon’s immortality.

But that would be boring and unrealistic and Twiligh-ish, let’s be real here, Simon turns back into human & becomes a Shadowhunter is too perfect & happy it feels like a bad fanfic which is exactly why i don’t want it to happens to Malec (However fyi he is not the only mundane who ever become a shadowhunter, they have a thing called the Ascension, which is the process through which mundanes become Shadowhunters by drinking from the Mortal Cup) There must be a way for them to be happy without Magnus losing immortality & Alec becomes immortal, i dont know how i’m still working on theories & headcanons, the only thing i know is that i dont want Malec to have a sappy ending they deserve more than that

You keep saying the past is the past, but the past make you who you are. I want to know about your life. And if you’re not willing to tell me about it, then I shouldn’t be with you. Because I know me, and I won’t ever be okay with it. So I shouldn’t put us both through that again

Alec Lightwood, City of Heavenly Fire

I’ve been sorry and I’ve been understood and I’ve apologized and apologized, and you haven’t ever been there. I did all that without you. So it makes me wonder what else I could do, WITHOUT YOU
