Magnus had bought a coffeemaker because Alec had consistently seemed mildly distressed by Magnus’s magicking-slash-slightly-stealing cups of coffee and tea from The Mudd Truck. The machine was extra bother, but Magnus was glad he had bought it. Alec had to know the coffeemaker was for him and his delicate moral sensibilities, and Alec seemed to feel a sense of comfort around the machine that he felt about nothing else, making coffee without asking if he could, bringing Magnus a cup when he was working. Everywhere else in Magnus’s loft Alec was still careful, touching things as if he had no right to them, as if he were a guest.

And of course he was a guest. It was only that Magnus had an irrational desire for Alec to feel at home in his loft, as if that would mean something, as if that would give Magnus a claim on Alec or indicate that Alec wanted a claim on him. Magnus supposed that was it. He badly wanted Alec to want to be here, and to be happy when he was here.

one of my favourite ship combos is when you have one really grumpy/cranky character or someone deathly serious who never smiles and a really happy/bubbly/energetic character that drags them everywhere and the first character looks really unamused but the happy character’s having the time of their life and then the happy character smooches the grumpy character and the grumpy character just gives this soft little smile and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

There is something always bugs me about how Kevin portrays Alec in CoB movie, i mean he is Alec but at the same time, not quite like Alec, & for sometime i don’t understand why. But now I get it, it’s because the Alec Kevin portray is more like CoFA & CoLS’ Alec, not CoB’s Alec.
Alec in CoB was like “I’m jealous but i’m not quite sure if i should be jealous or if i have the right to be jealous because Jace is not exactly mine or anything but i’m still jealous anyway ugh i’m a horrible person”
While Alec in CoFA & CoLS was like “(I know jealous is not good but) fuck that you’re my boyfriend i have every fucking right to be jealous so who the fuck is he/she” & Kevin’s Alec is exactly like that

Status: it has been a while since the last time i posted something here. Unfortunately, i’m still waiting for my tablet. I’m also drawing something for Valentine at the moment but not sure if i can finish it on time so i post this instead just in case i get too lazy …

“How the hell is this relaxing?“ asks Alec as their jet whizzes into the sky. Magnus takes his seat, automatically adjusting to the slight turbulence that’s causing his boyfriend so much distress. He smiles knowingly and asks, ”Want a drink? It’d help you relax.“ At the word ‘relax’ Alec’s eyes widen, then his face breaks into a wicked grin. ”No,“ he says, as he unbuckles his seat belt, ”I have a better idea.“ And it’s all Magnus can do to keep quiet; there’s still a pilot on a private jet.

“Sit down,” demanded Alec as he stood up from his seat. He locked eyes with his boyfriend, set his shoulders back, and strode over to him. Magnus liked it when he took charge. Luck was not on Alec’s side though, and they hit a tiny patch of turbulence that caused him to stumble into the aisle and nearly face plant into the other seat. After catching himself, he realizes his face was only inches Magnus’s lap. A smirk quirked on the edge of the warlock’s mouth, “That was easy,” he said.

because what Shadowhunter has a vase especially one who probably shot decorations off of the mantlepiece as a child with his toy bow and arrow set for “training purposes” (it was the only way he could get away with doing it) and Magnus feels like a complete idiot but Alec just laughs and kissing him and Magnus is like “oh. this is why I’m in love” and kisses him back
