…that Magnus keeps on withholding his past from Alec because “i don’t get why the past has to matter” when his post-breakup past with Lady Camille bothered him so much that he had to resort to getting Catarina (who specializes in HEALING, bc the memory spells are Magnus’ forte) to wipe out his memory for him.

And now he doesn’t remember all their shit post-breakup and he’s so “wtf woman” about Camille taunting and manipulating Alec and WELL SIR WARLOCK IF YOU HAD NOT ALTERED YOUR MEMORY THEN MAYBE YOU CAN EXPLAIN TO ALEC WHY CAMILLE FUCKING BELCOURT IS STILL SO ATTACHED TO YOU.

I still love you lots, High Warlock of Brooklyn. I really do. But it’s just so convenient that your memory as of this moment is kaput. But I understand that being selfish and wanting true love and your own happiness is what makes you, despite the demon blood, inexplicaby a HUMAN, at the end of the day.

I swear to god these people need to stop calling Magnus gay.  He’s not gay.  He’s bi.  For fuck’s sake he calls himself “a freewheeling bisexual.”  He’s been with women.  Yes he’s with Alec now—or at least was.  But you know what?  That doesn’t make him gay.  Get your facts correct.  This is a major pet peeve of mine.
