  • A really obvious divide between Shadowhunters and Downworlders.
  • I need Magnus to be the one that shows Clary how brutal the Shadowhunters were (and still are) to Downworlders.

Um… no. The exact quote were “Alec exuded a bone-deep innocence that was rare among Shadowhunters – a quality that, Magnus had to admit, drew him like a moth to a flame, despite all his own cynicism.”

He’s attracted to Alec, not every Shadowhunters thank you very much

P/s: Some might say the innocence part is creepy but i think he just meant Alec’s not calculating like most Shadowhunters

Umm ok i meant he’s attracted to them like a magnet. Most downworlders keep as far away from Shadowhunters as possible whereas Magnus goes out of his way to help them and he always gets mixed up in their business ‘thank you very much’

But the way you wrote it makes it feels like Magnus likes Shadowhunters or something, but he isn’t. He helps them because he is a good guy who help people who are in troubles which always happen to be shadowhunters. And you used the same words Clare uses to describe his attraction to Alec so of course some people (for example: me) will misundersood it that way :

Okay but don’t make Malec a thing yet. That doesn’t happen like officially till like book 3. There is slight flirty moments and stuff but no kissing and crap till later on so all you guys with strong Malec feels please contain yourself.

excuse you but they already have their first kiss after CoB & do a lot of… other stuffs before CoA even happen. We are not even sure that the tv show will last more than 1 season, we want

Morning lovelies!

Lets keep the Shadowhunters excitement going. If you could pick one scene from ANY of the TMI (or TBC, or TFSA, or any of the other extra stuff Cassie has done) books, to be a perfect one to one translation into the show, what scene would it be?

For me it would be Magnus’ and Alec’s first date. Specifically the part where they’re working together to save the werewolf girl, and then back at Magnus’ place where they have a nice hot make-out after which Alec promptly falls down the stairs.

What about you guys?

The flashbacK scene in WTBTSWHE where they were on a date at Taki’s & Alec being protective over Magnus then Magnus being touched that Alec is the 1st person who ever think of protecting him. Very important development in their relationship i think
