It’s funny how you can write a pretty vague post in the tag without any specific name and then people just assume you’re writing about them! Believe me it’s not you, your name (or url in this case) never come across my mind, in fact i don’t even know who you are or if i have ever read any of your posts, so just… get over yourself.

With the early appearance of Camille & the rumour that Magnus & Alec are already in a relationship when the show starts, i think there is a possibility that they will fast forward Malec’s storyline so we might have a chance to see Malec’s contents from 6 books in just 3 seasons. To be honest, i don’t think this show can last 6 seasons so i just want to see all Malec’s storyline before it get cancelled. And i kind of like the idea that Malec has been dating for a while when the show starts. Alec is around 20 in the show but they can still make them dating since Alec was 18. Like they would met in a Council meeting or just a meeting in the Institute & Alec could still agree with something Magnus said about the Clave. Magnus would flirt with Alec in the Intitute’s corridor & he could still heal Alec after he get badly injured after a hunt (it kind of unrealistic in the book that Alec had been hunting for years but never get in a life-threatening situation). That way when the show starts they would have been dating for around 2 years and it will make more sense that Magnus is getting frustrated after 2 years of secret relationship. Then when he stops contacting Alec in CoG we can have some short flashbacks from Alec to explain how they met (and maybe their first date or Alec’s birthday too – like in sense8 when Lito told Nomi about his first date with Hernando at the museum) that way we can still have every contents from the beginning of their relationship and the contents from the last 3 books. idk, maybe i shouldn’t put my hope in this show so i won’t get frustrated when they decide to go with different directions with Malec

I know the snippet from ‘Born to endless night’ makes many people uncomfortable, but it actually contains some kind of truths?
Like most warlock are born from a demon father and human mother so of course they would have daddy issue, which i only realize after reading the snippet?
And the comparison with Brangelina is kind of valid since Malec is actually a powerful couple? Like Magnus is the high warlock of Brooklyn and also representative of the entire warlocks population in the council? And Alec will soon become the head of new york institute, and his father is also the consul (or insiquitor? I cant really remember)? Also they are both heroes of the war? They are like the first same sex, biracial couple with high position in the Shadow World? And unlike Clace who are connected to the main villains, they don’t have any bad reputation with them? (Also one of them is bisexual?)
Does this mean Clare will make them like real life Brangelina? Like everyone will expect to have a big fancy full of politic wedding but instead they will adopt a bunch of kids from different races (warlock? Fairies? Shadowhunter?) and live together for years before having a private happy wedding with only family? Because i’m so okay with that? Am I reading too much into this?
