It’s because Cameron and Jack followed each other on Twitter. Also, they’re both in Virginia. And there’s a PBS medical drama set during the Civil War filming in Virginia. It’s a mini-series consisting of 6 episodes. Here’s the link to the actual project –> [x]

I’m not a big fan of Li Shang in Mulan so everytime i saw people fancast Godfrey Gao as him I crinkled but he actually has lots of qualities for the role:
– He is hot, duh
– Chinese! Not Korean or Japanese
– He can speak English
– He actually know (some) martial arts
– He know how to ride a horse! (lol which is so convenient since he only learnt to do that recently for his new drama role, this guy sure is lucky)

Fancasts on tumblr sometimes are boring as hell, people keep using the same old actors/actresses from famous shows, who are often too old for the roles & the fact that they are currently on famous shows means that there is no way they can be casted on another show, be more creative, do research, there are a lot of new talented actors/actresses out there people
