Before I heard that people complaint about Alec had no personality or sort of! I don’t know because I’ve only been friend with Malec shipper and they all love Alec! So after COHF, I think some people indeed finally realize how awesome Alec is!

It’s just ONE person, and I remember laughing so hard at the bullshit they wrote I don’t even think of reply, because if that person really think so he/she is beyond help. There are always people like that in a fandom & it doesn’t represent fandom in general. I read lots of negative reviews about TMI in goodreads & most of them don’t like Cassandra but even those reviews said Alec is the best character in the series.

My point is maybe Alec isn’t the most popular character, but he is widely beloved, especially on tumblr where gay couples are often more popular than heterosexual couples. So saying that “people suddenly love Alec” is not exaclty true.

Maybe I’m delusional but I’ve always thought Alec & Magnus are the most beloved characters in TMI, I feel so weird when people said “suddenly everyone love Alec” I was like “Everybody love Alec what are you talking about”. Well maybe not everyone, but I really never have the impression that Alec was unpopular among fandom
