I was reading some rant about Malec’s ending and then …

Why couldn’t the sacrifice to get out of hell be Alec having to give up his mortality? Wouldn’t that feed Magnus’s father for longer than anything else?

And in that moment i swear half of this fandom are smarter than the author … 

I mean, what is it so bad about Alec being immortal?? Yes he will have to watch his family, friends die, BUT even if he is mortal they will still die, i’m pretty sure his parents will die before him, and Jace will die before him (you know, because of his personalities?), and maybe Isabelle will die before him (she is kind of reckless too). He & Magnus can’t have kids anyway so he wont have to watch their kids die. Immortality is a long time to spend alone, but Alec has Magnus now, they have each other now. So why can’t he & Magnus be like Tessa, stay with friends & family until they die & then travel around the world or move to a far far away place where there are only 2 of them. You know, it starts to sound like Twilight maybe i should stop …

NOW IM NOT SURE IF I NEED MALEC FEELS TO DISTRACT MYSELF FROM GODFREY GAO FEELS, OR NEED GODFREY GAO FEELS TO DISTRACT MYSELF FROM MALEC FEELS, maybe I need something to distract
myself from both, both are equally horrible

i WANT to read CoHF spoilers but seems like even those who had the book haven’t reached the part i care about which is Malec  so i guess i will have to wait for my own copy then ……
