As if throwing shade at the movie isn’t bad enough, now the fandom is throwing shade at tv series that have nothing to do with ‘shadowhunters’ trying to say that it’s better (even though it’s not even aired yet) :

tbh, i don’t understand why “[actor’ name] is basically [character’s name] irl” is considered a compliment on good acting? Because if they are basically their characters, then there is not much acting here, and high chances are that type of actors can only play one kind of character. Good acting is when the actor is so different from the character they played, you can’t believe they are even the same person. I think “good casting” would be the more appropriate compliment in this case.

oh and fyi, every posts i would reblogged about hsj and matt as their characters in the show will be tagged as “Algnus”. You know, so i can seperate them with Malec. idk, this is just in case someone is interested in knowing

oh my god this is the most hilarious thing ever. so i decided to buy jack some christmas gifts and ordered them to be sent to his parents’ house. one of them is the new harry potter illustrated version, but it’s out of stock in the US so i decided to buy the UK Version from amazon UK & chose the cheapest shipping option because shipping is so hella expensive. the thing is this option doesn’t come along with a track code so the book was kinda lost on the way to the US (thank god the other 2 gifts had arrived safely when he was still there). it supposed to arrive on Dec 23th but until this moment there is no sign of it, so i contacted amazon uk customer service and they gave me a refund of my shipping fee and already sent a new copy to jack, this time with a track code. all was well until i checked my amazon account and found out that they expected me to return the first book i ordered when i receive it. now how i can explain to them that i can’t because he is a freaking celebrity and i can’t just ‘hey jack, i bought you some present but it’s late for xmas and now there are 2 books arrived so i need you to send one of them back. you will need to do all these steps to make sure amazon receive it and won’t charge me the second time. oh, and don’t forget to pay for the shipping fee by your own money. Love XOXO’ LMAO
now i’m not entirely sure if i’d be charged the second time if the book wasn’t sent to them but for now i would just sit here and enjoy this ridiculous situation.

p/s: it just occurred to me that i can order it at Barnes & Noble instead lmao. oh well, i still want the UK Version. you know, just to fuck with him lol
