Morning lovelies!

Lets keep the Shadowhunters excitement going. If you could pick one scene from ANY of the TMI (or TBC, or TFSA, or any of the other extra stuff Cassie has done) books, to be a perfect one to one translation into the show, what scene would it be?

For me it would be Magnus’ and Alec’s first date. Specifically the part where they’re working together to save the werewolf girl, and then back at Magnus’ place where they have a nice hot make-out after which Alec promptly falls down the stairs.

What about you guys?

The flashbacK scene in WTBTSWHE where they were on a date at Taki’s & Alec being protective over Magnus then Magnus being touched that Alec is the 1st person who ever think of protecting him. Very important development in their relationship i think

Or the scene when Alec woke up in the morning after got healed by Magnus & think Magnus’ eyes are beautiful! And the whole healing process where Alec hold on Magnus arm in pain!

It may be just me, but I don’t think any of the actors who are constantly bringing up how they might be Magnus, actually got the part. I get being excited and wanted to interact with fans of the series, because maybe they searched the tag and saw you mention it or something, but take Matthew, Kat, and Isaiah for example. They were the second wave of cast reveals, and none of them talked much about it on Twitter. I don’t think I’ve seen anything from Dom, Emeraude, or Alberto either. When they got the parts they would have had to sign stuff that prevented them from spilling the beans early to the public, so I don’t think they’d allow the actor for Magnus to do it all of a sudden.

That’s anti-climatic as hell, which the show and network really needs for promotion, because there’s about a year left to go before the show airs. One or two months before filming even starts, three or four before any real promo footage is edited and ready to be shown, and so on. It just seems too unlikely to me that the actor who actually booked the show would be allowed to do this, and if they haven’t cast him yet, I don’t think they’re going to pick an actor that is giving spoilers before the official team. And as an actor, why would you? I’d be scared mentioning it would jeopardized my chances. If anything I’d say the actors are capitalizing off of the attention, which is a smart career move.

If Austin Ku will play Magnus can someone start a support group that will get me through a tv series where one of my fav characters ever is played by someone that has nothing to do with him?!

Bonus points if at the meetings we can invite Godfrey Gao.
Not because I wanted Godfrey as Magnus in the tv series, but to remember those times when we had a Magnus that actually looked like Magnus.

Wake me up when this nightmare ends.

He looks old, so his real age doesn’t really matter. Though you are right. I do think he is currently auditioning for the role of Magnus. And he has the support already judging by the retweets. 

i was horrified, coz i also found 1 or 2 other Asian/half-Asian actors who follow McG and all of them look like a married man with 2 kids… though he is the only one i was sure auditioned for the role
