one problem i have with show!alec is that he seems to want to make sure everyone know that he is pissed off, he is so vocal about it, which is the total opposite of canon Alec who want to stay as lowkey as possible. (and i don’t remember Alec to be that rude with Simon, but maybe it’s just me, it’s been a while since i read the book)

All you people who were hating on the sneak peek of shadowhunters and saying that the acting was bad or the effect was bad, watch the interview with xtinemay (polandbananasbooks)
Mcg says that at this point we threw together something for NYCV but we are still working on episode one, the effects, the music and everything. We have a lot of work yet to do.

Have patience people you can’t go hating the show based on 6 mins.
Appreciate the hardwork. I am not telling you that you have to love it. I am just saying give it a chance. Don’t dismiss it before it even airs.

hey so if they are “still working on the cgi” then why don’t they just wait until it’s done to show it to the fans huh? i mean i understand that they have a deadline (the NYCC) that they have to show some stuffs to fans but my point is: most complain comes from the buzzfeed’s trailer, which is totally unnecessary because they just revealed the teaser the day before and the feedbacks about that teaser was GREAT! There are not much to complain about the 6 minutes sneek peek from NYCC either, well, at least in terms of CGI. So that buzzfeed’s trailer is the wrong marketing move, they should have know better since there already is a movie for fans to compare it with :/

(and honestly when people said they’re disappointed it doesn’t mean they are not going to watch the show so stop with the “give it a chance”, honestly it’s annoying. Do you guys aware of the fact that when people are about to something but then someone tell them to do it, it usually leads to them not doing the thing? you guys are making it worst)
