Honestly this drive to make tv shows darker each season is so annoying if I wanted to feel sick to my stomach for hours I would watch the news not my favourite tv program
also the whole “maybe there are no good guys” theme that is thrown around is boring and pointless. why would i watch a show where there’s noone i feel like i can root for. characters need appeal beyond “they’re a badass”
i think casting unknown people is the best possible decision casting directors can make at this point like stop using the same five people in every film
