In the Dark Artifices, I’m expecting Magnus to walk in on Julian and Emma doing it in an alcove

I don’t know about you guys but i’m pretty sure they will keep Godfrey as Magnus in the TV Series.

First the problem here is not whether the company want to keep them or not (because it’s obvious that they do since the fans are already attached to the old cast), but more like whether the cast want to be back or not. I don’t know about others, but I know Godfrey & I know how Asian Showbiz usually works (well at least i hope so). Hollywood is a big deal if you are Asia, so Godfrey will be an idiot if he passes this oppotunity up.

Well, of course there is still this problem with busy schedule. I don’t know if Godfrey has any big project in 2015 (actually I don’t know anything about him lately other than some pics from Brave Heart & some photoshoots someone pls update me on him i’m dying in here) but Magnus doesn’t actually have a lot of screen time in the first 3 books so even if Godfrey has a new drama in Taiwan/China I think he can manage it. Of course i don’t want him to work himself to death but working constantly without a day off is pretty common in Asian showbiz (it’s crazy i know) – Godfrey himself said so in an interview i think? He was even surprised when he got a day off while filming CoB!

Oh and I saw someone said that Godfrey may not want to do TV Series I was like have you seen all the dramas he has been in????? From what I have seen, in the US actors & actresses who are famous for their roles in movies usually don’t do TV Series and vice versa. But that’s not how it works in Asian, people usually do both movies & tv series & most gain their fame from tv series first.

Last but not least! Filming in America means he can visit Canada & his parents & girlfriend easier, and he did said he want to spend time with his family more in the future ~~the man is thinking about marriage i’m telling you … gosh i’m still bitter~~

Overall, I really can see no reason for him to not play Magnus, unless I totally misunderstood Godfrey & Asian Showbiz, which I hope (& pretty sure) is not the case

There are many ways in which you could interpetered it, but I want to know why she chose I guess. All the other’s made perfect sense to me. They all fitted. The Alec one just had me going ‘huh?’ Not what I would have chosen. But it fit with Cassie’s everything on Alec really. He always gets the shittiest answers or comments. That it makes me wonder sometimes if she even likes or really knows what he’s like. Which surely she must since she created him, but I still feel she’s off a lot when it comes to him. But maybe she will answer me at some point and We’ll know.
I think it might be about him not wanting to immortal, but if that it is, he so deserved a much better flower. Since Alec is more than he relationship with Magnus and their never really adressed mortality issue.

I don’t know, it makes perfectly sense to me actually. Alec is a complex character, so it’s not surprise me Cassandra doesnt understand him well. Lots of authors said that even though they are the one who create the characters but the characters has souls of their own so sometimes even the authors don’t know what their characters was thinking.

Talk about shitty flower meaning, i think Maia & Simon got it worse. Simon’s flower means Friendship which is about his friendship with Clary, but Simon is obviously more than just Clary’s friend. And don’t even mention Maia, i don’t even know what it means, “Strong character”? That’s it?

The point is, we always think that our favorite characters is being treated unfair, we focus too much on that one character without actually thinking about other characters. I mean, yes, sometimes I feel like it’s unfair to Alec. But then even people who like Simon complains about what Cassandra treated him, and Simon is Cassandra’s favorite character, so I finally realize that people will always have something to complain about
