OKAY I HAVE A CRAZY THEORY ABOUT SOMETHING MIGHT HAPPEN TO SIMON BUT BEAR WITH ME?

clockworkpain:

So we know that the Heavenly Fire burns away evil, especially the Demonic kind.

We know that Vampirism is a demonic disease.

So like what if Simon is dying and Jace, in a really desperate attempt to save him, tells him to drink his blood. (He doesn’t know what’ll happen, but it’s their only option) And Simon hesitates, but he does. And it burns away the vampire disease, but his body would still be full of Angelic blood, which is a pretty dominant thing? So basically Jace could turn him to a Shadowhunter accidentally in an attempt to save his life?

But doesn’t that also mean Jace’s blood will be the cure for all vampires? And werewolves also? If Jace can do that then it will affect the whole downworlder system

One thing i will never understand is

In Magnus’ vow he said “Knowing Will and his friends had made Magnus swear to himself that he would never again get involved in Shadowhunters’ personal business. Because when you got to know them, you got to care about them. And when you got to care about mortals, they broke your heart."

But in reality he hardly involve with anyone in TID beside Will, and even his relationship with Will is not that memorable (well, at least in my opinion). I mean he talked to Tessa like twice or so, and never really have any conversation with Jem, he stayed at the Institute for a few days, the one he talked to the most is Henry & i don’t remember any significant communication between him and the Lightwood.

I read Magnus’ vow before TID, so i expected something big, something tragic happens to Magnus in the series, and needless to say i was very disappointed

All the events happened to the Shadowhunters in TID hardly cause him any harm, in fact the only thing that ever happen to him in TID was Camille left him & went live with her mundane lover & then when she came back he broke up with her. I don’t feel like he really cares about shadowhunters that much, and i don’t see any mortal break his heart.

I understand that there are a lot of reasons for him to avoid the shadowhunters (mostly because they are assholes who treated downworlder like shit), but saying he want to stay away from shadowhunters’ personal business because of Will & his friends is just too overdramatic
