Based on the idea that Connor likes to try to convince Oliver to do bad things with him slash who is stopping him from sexting from Annalise’s house especially when she’s not around.
NSFW for talk of sexting but not graphic.
————–
It’s not anywhere near the first night they’ve been stuck
working at Annalise’s when Connor’s made plans with Oliver but he knows it’s
not a good time for him to not be around since it’s been three months since
they actually got together and they’d planned on celebrating. The good thing
about it is that Annalise left a few hours ago with Bonnie to go to the
courthouse, leaving them with only Frank watching over them as they go through
the testimony.

Warnings: Very Mild Violence
Connor looked up from the couch when the doorbell
rang. He and Oliver must have dozed off. When he checked his phone the time
said 11PM. He loved Sundays. No stress. No work. No Annalise. Just laziness and
cuddles, making dinner together, watching TV, and the falling asleep on their
couch that was way too comfortable.

Connor arrives back to the apartment late. It’s dim, but the lamp by the couch is on. Oliver always leaves a light on for Connor. It’s a good sign. Maybe Connor hasn’t ruined everything after all.
He strips down to his boxers, lifts the blankets on his side of the bed and slides underneath. Oliver is turned away from him. Usually, Connor would wrap an around around Oliver’s waist and mold against his back. Tonight, he’s not sure he’s allowed. So he keeps the distance between them, inches like miles, an impassible chasm.
I love you, he said. That only seemed to make everything worse.
Exhaling, he flips onto his back and stares at the ceiling. He doesn’t know how to fix this.
“I love you, too, you know,” Oliver says, a whisper from across the Grand Canyon. “You could have picked better timing.”
“I’m sorry -”
“Don’t.” Oliver rolls over. His eyes are glassy, even in the dark.
Connor takes a shaky breath. He’s always hurting Oliver. “Do you want me to leave?”
“No.” Zero hesitation.
“Oliver -”
“I’m going to protect you.”
HTGAWM 2×05 Coda
“Okay, what is going on?” Oliver demands as soon as the door has closed. “You say you might be going to jail. What is happening right now?”
“Oliver…”
“No, seriously, what is going on? What are you keeping from me?”
“I can’t tell you.” Connor wrings his hands and he tries to make eye contact but fails. “I… I don’t want to do anything that might make you liable for any of my mistakes. I can’t bring you in to this. Ollie…”
A Coliver 2×05 Coda
“Did you bribe a witness?” Oliver asks, looking down at the legal pad with the list he’s written out.
“This is stupid,” Connor sighs out. He scoots over to curl up next to Oliver on the couch but Oliver inches away, eyes still down on the list.
“Perjury?” Oliver asks while striking ‘bribery’ from the list.
“I’m not-”
“Falsifying evidence?” The pen scrapes against the paper crossing out ‘perjury.’
“Oliver-”
Connor moves closer still and Oliver shifts away to avoid him. “Arson?”
“Okay. That’s enough.” Connor tugs the list out of Oliver’s hands and flips through the pages. Man, did Oliver write down a lot of reasons people go to jail. Spotting one near the bottom, Connor looks up with one eyebrow cocked. “‘Skipping out on jury duty,’ really?”
Oliver just shrugs. “I don’t know.”
Title: Connor Walsh for Dummies
Word Count: ~1600
Summary:Loving Connor Walsh isn’t always easy, but luckily Oliver knows just how to do it.
A/n: ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@mrjacobkemp prompted: HP AU = Amortentia
No one entirely understood Oliver and Connor’s friendship. Still, they did mostly everything together. Even their pranks were duo-act (most of the time – sometimes Connor would come up with ones too mean for Oliver). More than one time, they were found cuddling on the Hufflepuff and Slytherin couches. When Connor tried out as Seeker his third year, Oliver was there in the bleachers, cheering loudly just to embarrass Connor.
All of their friends knew they were inseparable. Yet Michaela, a mutual friend, would tell Oliver, “You could do better.” It would usually earn a laugh from Oliver and a glare from Connor. Unfortunately, it meant that everyone assumed that they were more than friends.
Please please please write a sequel to the fic where Connor says he loves Oliver during a fight!
When he gets home the world has changed again, it seems to always be going back and forth from one kind of apocalypse to another. Tonight is the worst of all possible worlds, because there is guilt and terror of the murder variety at his heels and guilt and terror in the form of an upset Oliver ahead of him.
Oliver doesn’t look up when Connor closes the door behind him. He’s typing away, but Connor knows he’s only pretend hacking because his shoulders are straight and squared, not hunched over and lax the way they are when his mind is occupied. Pretend hacking usually consisted of impulse buying on Amazon – anything from weird modem thingies he didn’t think they needed more of and box sets of BBC mini series.
“Hey, I’m home,” he says, leaning his hip against the back of the couch.
“If I ask how work was are you going to have some kind of mental break about your domesticity quota for the month?”
“Don’t be -”
“Because that’s what happened last month when we went to IKEA.”
“Oliver,” he says. Maybe there’s something in his voice because Oliver looks up from his current purchase (something tiny and black and really expensive) and looks him up and down.
“What’s wrong?”
Connor taps out his fingers against the backrest and stops just short of Oliver.
“Would you – mind? If I wasn’t a lawyer?” He asks.
.”Would I mind?”
Connor sighs and turns to him, “I mean is that part of why you’re…into me.”
“I’m more than into you, Connor. I love you.”
Connor feels the heat on his cheeks and his hands might be sweating and he doesn’t even know where the nerves are coming from anymore.
“I do too.”
“Do you now.”
“I do, I… I love you.”
Oliver laughs softly, like he’s actually surprised to hear it. “How Mr. Darcy of you.”
Connor shrugs and digs his hands into his pockets.
“Would you love me any less if I quit my job?” Oliver asks him.
Connor scrunches his entire face at him. “Why would I care?”
“Exactly,” Oliver says as he kneels up on the couch and pulls Connor forward. “I wouldn’t mind.”
I blame you Jess.
Oliver was holding his phone to his chin when he walked in. His shoulders were stiff and his brows were scrunched.
“Hey,” he called, trying to get his attention, but his gaze was stuck on something, “Everything ok?” he asked, putting away his keys.
Oliver sighed, long and deep, “That was you professor. Annalise.” He said, as he turned to face him. His eyes pierced Connor’s, and the color drained from his face.
That was all Oliver needed to know. His lips thinned and he pushed the chair as he got up. He walked out of the living room and Connor knew he should follow and try to explain but he couldn’t move. He could barely breath.
What did Annalise say?
What did she tell him?
Why did she have to bring him into this?
He wasn’t a part of any of this.
“Oliver,” he croaked, too softly, he could barely hear himself.
Oliver came back, his laptop in hand. He shoved everything off the coffee table and connected his laptop to an outlet and started typing, furiously.
With shaky hands and a racing heart Connor stay beside him, not too close, but not too far either. “Oliver please.” he begged, he wasn’t sure what he was begging for, for him to listen? to let him explain? for forgiveness? he wanted them all but the words wouldn’t come.
“Not now Connor.” Oliver said, not harshly.
Connor could feel his breath leaving him, his palms started to sweat and the squeezed one of the couch pillows to his chest, tightly. Hoping to ease his pounding heart. He could barely hear himself think, his body started to feel light and everything became weightless…like he was falling somewhere, nowhere
“Connor, Connor come on, breathe.” Oliver commanded, “There you go, yes, breath with me. In, one, two, three, Out, one, two , three.”
He followed Oliver’s instructions, telling his nose to inhale and expanding his lungs, finally letting air in so he could think, so he could feel, so he could hear. Oliver’s finger tips were hot against his clammy face, cold sweat making him shiver.
Oliver grabbed the afghan from the back of the sofa and wrapped it around him, tightly. “There you go, you’re ok. I’m going to make sure of it.” he promised, and kissed him lightly.
Connor was shocked, and confused. It showed.
“There was something in her voice. Like she, like she thought …I don’t know. But I’ve never liked her, the way she worked you. Now,” Oliver dropped his head, “There’s a lot I don’t understand. A lot I don’t know that I do expect you to explain.” he stated. “But not now.”
“Why?” Connor asked, he needed to know.
Oliver smiled, that soft, sweet, loving smile that was only for him. That made him fall in love with him, “Because, I love you. I won’t let anyone hurt you. Not even her. She has an idea of what I do, but she doesn’t know how good I am. She’s not going to frame you or blackmail me.”
“She-she- tried to blackmail you?!” Connor yelled, furious now, his panic a lone gone emotion, “I won’t let her. She can’t do this. It’s not right, you had nothing, nothing to do with this.”
Oliver began typing again, it was like a race between fingers to see who could get to which key first. They flew over his keyboard, and every so often there was a noise. All he saw were green numbers on a black screen. Codes that meant nothing to him.
“But I do Connor. There’s computer traces, and she knows. I’m getting rid of them…”
This piqued Connor’s attention, “And what Ollie?” he asked warily.
“I’m going to leave them somewhere else babe. Then I’m going to call some friends of mine, she’s not the only one who knows how to get stuff done. She just messed with the wrong hacker.” Oliver replied, his voice thick with vengeance.
