Wow everyone look at this- this is an amazing tablet, and I wish I had seen it before I just dropped $170 on a small intuos 5
This is called a Tursion Huion tablet- looks pretty simple right- kind of like a bamboo
here’s the thing. This tablet has 2024 levels of pressure- that is the equivalent to the pressure an intuos 5 currently has (retail price: $229 for the smallest)
You can get this lovely tablet for under $50 dollars on amazon
Only thing this beautiful table it lacking is a few simple buttons, but still, I mean, its drawing area is even bigger on average then most Wacom’s small tablets- and from the reviews ive seen on it people are very impressed….so just spreading the word around that Wacom isn’t the only one that is making good tablets- the more the company is spread perhaps they will come out with even better products that not only match up to Wacom, but are with in our price range for once!
You an buy one below at the link!

For anyone who’s learning Japanese, one of the hardest things about the language is the kanji. However, I recently found two really good sites that can help you out with that!
The first one is Hiragana Megane. All you do is copy/paste the link to a Japanese page, and it will automatically put furigana over the kanji on the page. Now you can at least read the words!
And if you want to know the meaning of the kanji instead, you can use Pop Jisho! Same deal. Just copy/paste a link, except, this time, if you put your mouse over the words, the definition of the kanji comes up.
They’re not miracle workers, but I hope they’ll help you out a bit! It’s easier than having to Google Translate things all the time. Have fun!
don’t let the ficwriters see this
He looked at me, his irradiated blue topaz eyes glistening, and all I wanted to do was kiss him on lips that were soft and the purest padparadscha. I blinked my tsavourite garnet orbs at him, my cheeks blushing vintage rose.

Is that so?
reblogging because I fucking want it to be goddamned true
Most of the time, it is true, because swear words are stored in the ‘emotions area’ of the brain, rather than the linguistics area.
fuck yes
SO MARTIN FREEMAN IS JESUS
Well fuck me
Just to add with this with a bit of science, I went to a lecture on swearing once, and we were provided with a diagram of the brain. Swear words are, indeed, stored in the limbic system (the parts of the brain that deal with emotion). That’s why when we experience a shock, be it touching something hot or being given a surprise gift or having to suddenly swerve, we tend to swear on reflex. Just as an animal might mewl, we swear, because it’s the best audible sign of shock our body can produce, and the one most likely to make our emotions evident to other people, and hence receive help if we need it.
are you saying that every time my kitten cries in the morning he’s going
“GET THE FUCK DOWN HERE I’M SO FUCKING HUNGRY GOD IT’S FUCKING GODDAM BREAKFAST JESUS FUCKING CHRIST STUPID GOOD FOR NOTHING SHIT HUMANS"
I made a tutorial?!?!? I’m pretty sure I’m not really qualified for that. BUT I did think it might be nice to share this easy trick with you guys on how to make drawing braids much much easier 😀
I once saw something like this in another tutorial and started using it and now this is how I do it now several years later. I hope it’s helpful!! Drawing braids can be such a pain that you don’t even bother.

Be sure to thank her for bringing 1:1 life size Makoto and Haruka to us. @v@If you’re interested in getting your own life size Makoto and Haruka, click the links below. Both are done by the original poster on Plurk.
Note: If you plan to share these on other social platforms, please make sure you say that the OP is Taiwanese and not Chinese. Respecting their nationality is important!
Okay, I realize this hilariously late for Asexuality Awareness Week (which was last week), but due to unforeseen stressors, it didn’t really get done in time.
Anyway! I’ve wanted to do something like this for a while, and I’m proud of myself of actually getting a six page comic done within a week. (Not that it’s really anything super fancy, but it’s better than nothing lol) I do apologize for the massive ugly text wall that is page four but I had a hard time figuring out how to convey it visually while being kind of pressed for time.
oh and the occasional copy/paste, I’m sorry for that tooEnjoy! Click on the separate pictures if the text is hard to read.
I think this is so important and tells us a lot. Thank you so much!
Both very interesting and informative. Read it.
Where Fujoshi would go for shopping in Tokyo? PART A
I think a lot of people might have posted a lot of details and information how and where to go for shopping but I’m going to tell you from all my experience. Things I love the most and definitely buy in Japan are Eyelashes, MURUA/EMODA, Cosmetic, Diet Subpliment and Yaoi mangas! (as long as I remember, I think) So, I’m going to tell you where to buy these things especially when you are Fashionista Fujoshi!
Land of Yaoi Manga is IKEBUKURO. I only stay this area because Ikebukuro have EVERYTHING I NEED. They have all the list I mention just now and I don’t need to go anywhere else.
Yaoi Mangas: You should first check 1. Book-Off 2. Animate 3. Mandarake 4. Shin’eido. These 4 places have difference awesome things.
Book-off: I am one of person who LOVE 2nd hand books! I really love it! Japanese people treat their books that look just like new and that’s the way I treat mine as well! So, bookoff has almost everything of 2nd hand books and also sell them half of the original price. Moreover, you could be able to collect all the collection from your favourite manaka.

New Animate at Ikebukuro: One of my paradise on earth! If you are looking for new release magazines or manga, this place is all you need. I even tried to speak Japanese in stupid skills to get the member card and the staffs were SO ADORABLE! Actually, you could spend time forever there (I also spend most of my time with these places too.) but all you want is Yaoi manga then go straight to 4th floors! Every period of time, there will be a doujinshi section for you to buy as well.
More information: click
Mandarake: For me, I kinda like this place when I couldn’t find the manga I want at all because sometime they sell goods and doujins with higher price than you know. So, I suggest to go those places first and if you really can’t find it then come to this place. However, good things about Mandarake is they have a lot of goods that no longer on sale with the killing-u price but there are A LOT of doujins here.

Shin’eido: I just found this place few months ago! I was walking around at Sunshine City Department Store then I found them! They have some yaoi manga but if you look for past magazines issue, this place would be awesome for you! No one take a photo of this book store so I can show you how they look like but if you need more information go to here
I should go rest now~ See you next entry!
