bothering me for a while.
in fact it’s very petty and if you like hsj then you
will definitely get angry.

as an asian, i’m seriously insulted that somebody think this is the proper way to do eyeshadow on asian eyes
(also warlocks are never demons : as well as magnus : i don’t recall him do anything remotely as awful as a demon would do : i don’t know where this guy has that idea from)
Frankly, the eyeshadow looks just goddamn awful. I don’t know how many good eyeshadow for asian eyes you’ve seen in your life but this is good eyeshadow on asian eyes

The sad thing is, HSJ is actually pretty good-looking in some pictures and videos i saw, it’s the makeup they chose to put on him that make him looks awful.
And before any of you said something along the line of “looks doesn’t matter” let me ask you a question: if looks doesn’t matter, then why you all are trying so hard to convince people that HSJ looks anywhere as good as godfrey?
I don’t know if that’s how all westerners see them (you know, as “equally” attractive – man, i remember seeing these words in some interview and snorted so hard) or just some delusional fans of the show, but if you asks 10 asian women who is the more handsome of the two, all 10 will answer that it’s godfrey gao, it’s not even a competition. I know, because i did it with all of my female friends who doesn’t really know who both of them are and doesn’t give a rat’s ass about the movie or the show so i think it’s a pretty fair result.
And to be honest, i KNOW for the fact that Godfrey is NOT a good actor, i never deny it. He can be good, occasionally, but most of the time, he is just a pretty face. Still i’m such a big fan of him, hell, i flied to another country twice just to see him for half an hour each time, and if i can admit that he is an awful actor then i don’t understand why HSJ’s stans can’t admit the fact that HSJ will never ever look as good as godfrey.
see, this is the thing that pissed me off. They expect us to admit our favorite’s weakness but refuse to acknowledge what their favorite lacks . They don’t want a tie, they want to win! They can’t seem to seperate between looks and acting skills. Every single post defends HSJ must talk about how great his acting skills are. But I don’t care about that! He can be an Oscar nominee, even an Oscar winner and i will still not care. Hell, i don’t even care about who plays Magnus at this point, i just want people to STOP saying that HSJ is as good looking as Godfrey! Yes, different people can have different taste but we’re talking about general opinion here. General as in “fact that was agreed by the majority, not by some
biased
individuals”. I just need just that, and i will stop posting anything remotely negative about this show, i will even praise it as the greatest show ever in history of television! But i doubt it will happen anytime soon. Because people are just so stubborn :
tl;dr i wish people would just admit the fact that hsj is not as good looking as godfrey gao so i can finally tell them that i actually don’t mind hsj as magnus (like, at all) and i can stop pretend that i’m not excited for this stupid show and then we can go our seperate way. It’s actually not the quality of the show that made me this bitter fun-ruiner, it’s the way people just can’t seem to accept a very simple fact of life.
